The committee set a clear near‑term process: produce one consolidated draft of the ebike/e‑scooter ordinance and circulate it for review ahead of the August meeting.
Cynthia Holmes told the committee she would combine the selected red text from option 2 into a single draft and "turn that around, fairly quickly this week." Members asked that the revised version be distributed so they could "see it before so we can vote on it at the next meeting," and Holmes confirmed she would try to do that despite scheduling constraints.
The committee also discussed pairing any ordinance adoption with a public education campaign, including links to state requirements and local signage. Town Planner Laura Robertson and Chair William Chapman were named as reviewers for the consolidated draft; Holmes said she would share the draft with them before the August meeting.
