NSTEP board president previews gospel-fest fundraiser and describes program gains

Kalina Everett, president of NSTEP’s board of directors, said recent vendor events provided hands-on opportunities for youth and helped connect students and parents with sponsors. “The kids were able to ask questions to the vendors that were there, and the parents were able to communicate with the sponsors as well,” Everett said.
Everett said funds raised will support internships, summer camps and back-to-school services. She also announced a gospel-fest featuring Morgan State’s gospel choir planned for February 2027 as a fundraising event for the organization.
