Board unanimously reinstates license for physician after disclosure questions

The Nevada State Board of Osteopathic Medicine voted unanimously Oct. 14 to reinstate the osteopathic medical license of Dr. Ryan Dalisky following a review of his restoration application and related documentation. Board counsel and staff reported that National Practitioner Data Bank records showed two malpractice settlements finalized after Dalisky’s license expired on Dec. 31, 2023, including one settlement the Board identified as exceeding $1 million and another indicating possible permanent injury. Board members questioned whether those settlements had been fully and accurately disclosed on his application.
Dr. Dalisky told the Board he had difficulty obtaining settlement letters from his attorneys and said both cases were settled in April 2025. He reiterated his intent to be transparent and cooperative during the review process. After discussion about disclosure accuracy and the need for documentation, Mr. Nigam moved to reinstate Dalisky’s license and Dr. Janda seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The Board did not record any conditions attached to the reinstatement at the meeting.
