The board asked staff to request and review statements dating back to the beginning of the year so they could reconcile payments, investigate the source of finance charges and confirm whether the town was being assessed late fees or other charges. "We don't ever see statements... we pay off the invoice all the time," one member said while requesting the full documentation from the hauler.
