The Board of County Commissioners on Feb. 10 approved nominations to the Clermont County Local Emergency Planning Committee and accepted several resignations. Nominees named to fill unexpired terms through Aug. 14, 2025 include Kim Francis (First Aid, American Red Cross/Community Disaster Program Manager), Ursula Miller (Media, Clermont County Office of Public Information/Communications Coordinator), Mike White (Law, Clermont County Sheriff’s Office/Lieutenant) and Stephen Downey (Fire, Monroe Township Fire & EMS/Chief), as recorded in the minutes.
The Board also accepted resignations effective Jan. 23, 2025 from Steve Armstrong (American Red Cross/EMA Coordinator – Cincinnati Chapter), Mike Boehmer (Clermont County Office of Public Information/Communications Coordinator), Chris Stratton (Clermont County Sheriff’s Office/Sheriff) and Kevin Riley (Central Joint Fire & EMS/Chief). The appointments and acceptances were made pursuant to Section 3750.03(B) of the Ohio Revised Code and approved by roll call.
