Commissioners fill committees and regional seats for 2025; several abstentions recorded

Notable actions included appointment of Paige Sheridan to the Clermont County Family Services Planning Committee, reappointment of Brittney Cousins to the Area 12 Workforce Investment Board, designation of John McManus as designee to the Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District Policy Committee, and multiple commissioner designations to regional and county boards such as the OKI Executive Committee and the County Investment Advisory Committee.
The Board moved item #26 off the table and approved designating Kristopher McClintick and Emily Akers to the Tax Incentive Review Council (TIRC) for 2025. Several motions recorded abstentions by the commissioner being designated (for example, Corcoran abstained on designation to the Board of Revisions; Batchler or Painter abstained in related reciprocal designations), and many appointments were approved unanimously.
