Clermont County commissioners approve consent agenda including transportation MOU and bond releases

The Board of County Commissioners of Clermont County approved its consent agenda during the regular session on Feb. 10, 2025, adopting minutes, procurement authorizations and administrative items. The consent agenda included a Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Job and Family Services and the Clermont Transportation Connection to purchase Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) and At‑Risk Pregnancy transportation services and the release of several maintenance bonds for water and sewer main extensions.
Under the MOU the county will pay $9.12 per mile for bus trips (noted as $9.04 per mile plus a $0.08 per-mile capital cost) and $8.69 per mile for van trips for NET services provided by a county-purchased van; the agreement covers 02/01/2025 through 01/31/2026 and is contingent on release of the purchase order (DC# 25-0127-004). The Board also authorized release of maintenance bonds and acceptance of water and sewer main extensions for multiple locations (examples listed in the record include Blue Sky Drive with a $4,100 water bond and Goshen Dollar General with $1,500 water and $1,600 sewer bonds). Several employee training and travel reimbursements were approved with itemized estimated amounts (for example, Mary Lynne Birck mileage $133.00 and registration $100.00; Brian Dutlinger’s Med Dive training estimated not to exceed $1,385.31).
