Hanover County EDA re-elects officers, approves 2026 meeting calendar

The Hanover County Economic Development Authority re-elected its incumbent leadership and approved its 2026 calendar at a public meeting on Dec. 3, 2025.
Secretary Brandon Turner opened nominations for chairman, vice chairman, treasurer and secretary and stated the incumbent slate—Trey Hayden, chairman; Elizabeth Rafferty, vice chairman; Carey Carlisle, treasurer; and Brandon Turner, secretary—were willing to continue. Mr. Waldrop moved to accept the slate and Mr. Zemp seconded; the roll call in the minutes records Aye votes from Trey Hayden, Elizabeth Rafferty, Carey Carlisle, Wayne Waldrop, Sam Zeidan and James Zemp and the motion carried.
Members also approved the Authoritys 2026 monthly meeting calendar by motion from Ms. Rafferty and second from Mr. Waldrop; the minutes record Aye votes from the same members and note the motion was approved. The board adjourned at 9:11 a.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026 at 7:30 a.m.
