CPMT hears congregate-care report; staff to gather comparative data on out-of-state placements

Claiborne Warner asked whether an out-of-state placement would affect CSA congregate care expenses; the CPMT agreed that that particular case would be discussed in Closed Session. Ivy Sager requested comparative data showing Hanover’s congregate care usage and costs compared with localities of similar size, demographics and resources; Mr. Eakin agreed to gather those comparisons for a future meeting.
The presentation did not include dollar amounts or a formal proposal; the committee’s next step is for staff to return with the requested comparative data so members can evaluate how Hanover’s congregate care placements and lengths of stay compare with peer localities.
