Court advances plan to remove 21 roads from county system, schedules Nov. 26 viewers' hearings

The court characterized most listed roadways as dead-end roads with no residents.
The court announced that a public hearing and viewers' reports for each roadway will be held on Nov. 26, 2024 to take public comments and examine the road segments. The action advances the administrative process for removing county maintenance responsibility but does not itself remove any roads until viewers' reports and any statutory steps are completed.
