Court approves monthly financial statement, transfers and payment of bills

At its Sept. 24 meeting, the Caldwell County Fiscal Court approved the monthly financial statement, the treasurer's transfers, and authorized payment of bills; all motions passed unanimously following standard procedure.
During the business portion of the meeting, Magistrate Jeff Simms moved to approve the monthly financial statement; Magistrate Jeff Boone seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Simms then moved to approve the treasurer's transfers; Brent Stallins seconded and the court again approved the motion unanimously.
Magistrate Jeff Boone moved to authorize payment of bills as presented; Brent Stallins seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes note the approvals and direct that paperwork and requests for the next meeting be submitted to the judge's office by Oct. 4, 2024.
