Caldwell County Fiscal Court unanimously approves agenda and Sept. 24 minutes

Magistrate Jeff Simms moved "to approve today's agenda," and Magistrate Brent Stallins seconded; the court voted unanimously to adopt the agenda. Simms then moved to approve the minutes of the Sept. 24, 2024 regular meeting, Stallins seconded, and the minutes were approved by unanimous vote. Roll call administered by Lori Dunning recorded Judge-Executive William Dakota Young, Magistrate Elbert Bennett (District 1), Magistrate Jeff Boone (District 2), Magistrate Brent Stallins (District 3) and Magistrate Jeff Simms (District 4) as present; County Attorney Roy Massey IV was absent.
The approvals were routine procedural steps that allowed the court to proceed to new business. Paperwork and requests for the next meeting must be submitted to the judge's office by Oct. 18, 2024.
