The Planning Board approved the Mortillero site plan (11SP2026) for a three‑bedroom single‑family home on County Route 41 after the applicant confirmed he had addressed prior comments and submitted revised drawings to satisfy the fire marshal, construction inspector and consultants.
Glenn Thornton, the applicant’s engineer, said the outstanding items had been corrected and that he received a comment letter from the health department the morning of the meeting; he said he would respond and expects approval soon. Town staff and the board agreed to require that Department of Health comments be addressed prior to issuance of the building permit rather than as a pre‑signature condition. The board approved the site plan with ongoing conditions including a requirement to address any underground stream impacts if encountered during construction.
