Planning Commission approves minutes, hears public comment on General Plan review and council updates

The Huntsville Town Planning Commission began its Aug. 22 meeting with roll call, administered the Oath of Office to alternate commissioner John Henderson, and approved minutes from May 23 and June 25 by unanimous vote.
During public comment Ron Gault asked whether the commission was interested in modifying the General Plan. Bill Wangsgard offered complimentary remarks about the commission's work. Town staff and commissioners noted ongoing code-review projects, and a Town Council update in the packet referenced a Summit Group proposal regarding a green-waste facility that could allow the town to stop onsite burning of green waste.
Chairman Allen Endicott closed the meeting after routine remarks and a motion to adjourn; the clerk recorded adjournment at 6:57 p.m.
