The Huntsville Planning Commission approved a land-use review for an accessory structure on the Loeffler/May property at 155 S 7000 E after reviewing setbacks and allowable uses.
PCM Steve Songer presented the item and reviewed the setbacks on the submitted site plan. Commissioners discussed what activities are allowable inside an accessory building and made clear that the structure "would not be allowable as a dwelling." Following that review, a motion to approve the permit passed unanimously.
An associated Land Use Permit form in the packet notes R-1 zone setbacks and lists "NONE" under special stipulations for this application; the permit approval on Aug. 22 will be reflected in the town's building-inspection records. If the applicants later alter the site plan or propose a change in use, the commission indicated they must return for review.
