Sandy Hunter, the Town Council liaison, reported that the Town Council approved a walkway over town property to increase accessibility to the Hydes vacant building; the Hydes will construct and maintain the walkway. The council also approved rental fees for a new town-owned building and discussed the town’s database and future maintenance of its records.
Hunter said the council expects Shannon Smith, the town clerk, to update the town database with planning commission land-use permits as approvals occur. The council discussed procedural changes to subdivision code related to lot consolidation and planned to return a larger subdivision-code change to the planning commission for a public hearing and further review.
