Pratt County commissioners approve routine donations, fees, hires and permits; two executive sessions held

The Pratt County Commission approved several administrative motions on March 23, 2026, including a $1,000 donation to the Miss Kansas Foundation and payment of $625 to UMB Bank for PRMC bond administration services. The board also approved hiring Timothy Thomason for the Road Department at $17/hour and granted a road crossing permit to SC Telcom for crossings at NE 50th and NE 40th Street. Motions on minutes (March 16, 2026) and vouchers for March 23, 2026 were approved 3-0.
The board held two attorney-client executive sessions during the meeting: a 45-minute session at 3:00 p.m. to discuss PRMC leases with Jack Galle and David Prelle Eron, and a 25-minute session at 4:02 p.m. to discuss a potential sale of the PRRC Building and PRMC lease matters. In both cases the board reconvened and recorded no action on return. The meeting adjourned at 4:27 p.m.
