Resident urges permanent fix to settled sidewalk that impedes motorized scooter use

Jacquelyn Broussard of 436 Edgemont Boulevard told the Board that a settled sidewalk near her home makes it difficult to use her motorized scooter and that a hole previously filled with epoxy has reopened. She asked the city to investigate the underlying cause and find a permanent fix.
Public Works Director Layton said the sidewalk segment is on the City's list for repair and staff hopes to have a contractor on site soon to raise and level the sidewalk; Layton also said staff will inspect the reopened hole. The board did not take formal action but directed staff to investigate and report back.
