Board directs staff to revise code after resident seeks livestock allowance in R‑2

Walker asked the board to consider allowing a conditional use permit in the R‑2 zoning district for livestock.
City Administrator Brent Buerck and members discussed the request. The board reached consensus that staff should revise the municipal code to better define “livestock” and to include a path for allowing livestock in R‑2 via conditional use. No ordinance or formal vote was taken; the item returns to staff for drafting and future board consideration.
