Groups see restaurants as a key business opportunity but note staffing and seasonal gaps

During the visioning exercise, participants identified restaurants and other visitor-serving businesses as a promising way to capture visitor spending given Huntsville's proximity to Pineview Reservoir and nearby resorts. The meeting notes say groups believed the town’s location should support at least one stable restaurant in town.
At the same time, participants raised workforce concerns: staff commonly would need to commute from Ogden, which may limit hiring, and businesses risk losing patrons in spring and fall shoulder seasons. County staff and the town economic advisor framed these observations as inputs for later discussions about incentives, public/private partnerships and potential workforce strategies.
