Pratt County extension staff warn Topeka bill could cut statewide extension funding

"We were notified by our regional director last week, week before, that there is, a bill going through Topeka right now wanting to limit our funding statewide extension funding in 2027," Denton said, urging the board and residents to use the provided contact information for their state representatives and senators. She added the office offers regular training and shared programming with neighboring counties and is not limited to county fair work.
