Westmoreland Food Bank expansion gets conditional approval; parking modification approved

The Salem Township Board approved the Westmoreland Food Bank’s land development for a building addition and parking expansion on Tax Map Parcel No. 57-12-00-0-087 with conditions to verify parking counts, obtain WCD erosion-and-sediment approval, and add revision numbers and dates to the plan. The township engineer had already approved the Stormwater Management Plan, and FTMSA reviewed the plan and indicated no planning module or tap purchase was necessary for the expansion.
Separately, the board approved a modification request from Morris Knowles & Associates to reduce existing parking-space depth along the front of the building from 20 feet to 16 feet with a drive aisle reduction to 19 feet in that area; the modification was recommended for approval by the board and passed unanimously.
