Supervisors reported that sewage has been pumped out of the township pumping station over the prior two days to protect downstream interceptors with no problem reported in township lines; FTMSA managed the downstream flows. Officials stressed there was no failure of the township system and no additional concern beyond protecting the interceptors in White Valley.
Supervisor Kerry Jobe provided an update on the Unity Township Municipal Authority Crabtree sewage project, saying preliminary feasibility numbers look favorable compared with an MAWC alternative and that a PowerPoint will be prepared once final numbers are available. He noted a slight increase in engineering invoices due to additional work but characterized the overall cost‑effectiveness as better than the MAWC option. No formal vote on a construction contract was taken at the meeting.
