Blair Volunteer Fire Department promotes two cadets to senior cadet program

Mayor Mindy Rump and Blair Volunteer Fire Department leadership recognized the promotion of Jackson McIntosh and Ellie Russell from cadets to the department's Senior Cadet Program. Fire leadership said both cadets have met program milestones and "are ready to move up the ladder." The council moved, seconded and unanimously approved the promotions, and the mayor congratulated the cadets for their service and volunteerism.
"We know volunteerism is not taken lightly and we appreciate your devotion to our community and hope that you are a beacon for others," Mayor Rump said. The council's formal approval will be recorded in personnel/volunteer records.
