Commission told to prepare neighborhood-revitalization plan as House Bill 2470 moves to governor

"The enactment date of the bill is July 1," Heather said. She also noted that a housing incentive application that would rely on the neighborhood-revitalization framework has been delayed until the county's process is in place.
Commissioners discussed next steps and agreed staff should coordinate with taxing entities and the county attorney to ensure the plan is in proper legal form before outreach begins. Clerk (S2) suggested staff speak with Cody or Regina to move the process forward and aim for formal adoption before July 1.
The committee did not take formal action at the meeting; Heather said she would follow up next week with additional materials and consult the attorney general's office on the plan's form.
