Doug Freund, Road and Bridge and Lake Supervisor, told the commissioners that the lake currently has roughly 10–11 separate meters, each of which triggers a minimum monthly charge even during low winter usage. He proposed consolidating those into a single central meter to reduce ongoing costs.
The Board approved a motion giving Freund authority to consolidate the meters at a cost of $6,583.22 to be paid from the Lake budget. Commissioner Rick Shriver moved the motion, Commissioner Thomas W. Jones III seconded, and the motion passed 3-0.
