On Feb. 6 the Clinton County Parks and Greenspace Commission reviewed a draft request for proposals for the Clinton Trails County Park Phase I development and agreed that staff should include representatives from the universal access and non-motorized committees on the RFP selection committee. Coordinator Kyle Thornton presented the draft, and Chair Chuck Nelson suggested committee representatives join county staff for the selection process; the commission agreed by consensus.
The commission did not record a formal vote on the RFP at this meeting; the action taken was a direction to involve committee representatives in the selection process. The RFP draft and the composition of the selection committee will guide the next steps in solicitation and evaluation of proposals for Phase I development.
