The Salem Township Planning Commission voted on Sept. 4, 2024 to advertise a special meeting during the first two weeks of October to review proposed amendments to the township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO).
Planning Commission member Paul Holleran moved to advertise the meeting; Chair Connie Mattei seconded the motion and the commission voted unanimously to advertise. The commission stated the advertisement would be placed 7–10 days prior to the special meeting and that the revised SALDO materials would be available at that time for public review. Resident John Write asked whether materials would be distributed to the public prior to the meeting; the commission confirmed the materials would be available with the advertisement.
The commission instructed staff to select an agreed date in the first two weeks of October and to post the advertisement and revised documents ahead of the meeting. The commission also noted its next regular meeting will be Oct. 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. if there is an agenda.
