The court approved the ordinance's first reading by voice vote and asked staff to review the policy manual annually with the fiscal court. Staff will bring a consolidated annual update but retain the ability to implement operational changes as needed for field performance and safety.
"We ended up last month with the 670 runs," the EMS director reported, underlining recent call-volume increases that county leadership said justify flexible policy review.
