At its May 26 meeting, the Boyle County Fiscal Court approved staff-recommended budget transfers totaling $193,099 and cash transfers from the general fund to specific departments: $50,000 to the road department, $100,000 to the jail and $100,000 to EMS. The court approved both measures by voice vote after a brief presentation by Treasurer Shannon.
The court also approved a bills packet totaling $312,745.62. The clerk noted that part of the higher-than-usual enterprise payment this month reflected a down payment for outfitting an EMS vehicle. "Today's bill packet will total $312,745.62, and there are no add ons," the clerk said. Court members approved the bills by voice vote.
