Boyle County Fiscal Court approves cash transfers, pays bills and confirms board appointments

Court staff presented additional invoices totaling $215,710.25, and the full packet (including occupational-tax remittances) brought the meeting totals to roughly $3,000,108. Magistrate Cullen highlighted payments for Millennium Park capital improvements and election expenses. The court voted to approve the bills after brief discussion; the packet included a grant-funded payment of $8,524.70 for a glass pulverizer used to turn glass into sand.
The court also approved several local appointments. The judge recommended reappointing Daryl Johnson to the Parksville Water District board; magistrates approved the reappointment unanimously. The court appointed Lindsey Francois and reappointed Rita Bloom to the Boyle County Library Board; Library staff described a busy summer-reading kickoff with about 700 attendees and ongoing efforts to establish satellite locations and a city-hall book drop.
The meeting closed routine business items with praise from magistrates for library and parks work and a reminder that many capital projects and community events are underway.
