Town Administrator Lissa Stark presented a 4.4% COLA calculation for May 2025–May 2026, and Vice Chair Julie Isaacs moved to approve a 5% across-the-board COLA for all employees starting the second pay period in July; the board approved the increase, with members noting an $81,000 impact to the budget.
In a later executive session, the board voted to hire Karoline Wallace as Town Administrator, starting immediately with a $92,000 salary and a six-month probationary period beginning June 18, 2026. Wallace does not require medical, dental or vision insurance per the board motion. Christie Boswell abstained from the Town Administrator vote; other members approved.
The board also approved Pay Order Report #93398 totaling $145,752.15 and authorized Chair E. Stuart Coleman to sign the Management Questionnaire required for the July 22–23 audit.
