At the May 29 pre-bid walk-through for Winhall’s Cleaning Services RFP, contractor Renata Sawyer described the routine cleaning tasks her crews perform and the buildings she would cover if awarded the contract.
Renata said she can submit a bid to clean all buildings listed in the RFP and described site-by-site activities: dusting lights and baseboards on rotation, cleaning the top of shelves, floors, bathrooms, glass doors and removing trash to Town Hall; at the Fire Department she said crews clean the refrigerator, remove trash, dust (except papers), vacuum and mop. Regarding seasonal effort she told staff that winter cleaning takes more hours but that she does not increase billing for winter hours.
Renata also said her crews remove trash and clean utility sinks and showers at the Town Garage and that they clean the bathrooms and floors at the Community Center. During the tour she noted the Fire Department area had not been cleaned in a month and that her crew would perform the monthly cleaning that day.
