The council reviewed the law enforcement report showing 207 calls for service (142 in Martin), 141 traffic tickets (34 in Martin) and 23 arrests. Following that report, the council voted to accept the county's offer of $35,000 for four patrol vehicles (two Durangos and two Ford Interceptors).
The motion to accept the county offer passed with votes in favor from Councilmembers Moffitt, Wilson, Kocourek, Haynes and Peterson; Councilmember Doug Lucero abstained. The council recorded the acceptance and directed appropriate follow-up for vehicle transfer.
