For the Kendall Farm Road job—described as a single-culvert replacement that cannot close the road all day—the board considered five bids (Sanderson $14,500; AS Clark $25,422; Fitzpatrick $32,000; Chico $25,500; Hunter $29,800). Citing completeness of Hunter’s proposal and the need to include guardrail and water removal as contract items, the board approved Hunter’s amended bid after a motion by Grant and second by Boswell; the vote was unanimous.
The board indicated it would coordinate scheduling so the town’s crews and contractors minimize traffic impacts on the local road network. No formal protest or challenge to the awards was recorded at the meeting.
