Christie Boswell said the transition from GovOS to Deckard delayed some enforcement actions and that the town’s count of STR registrations remains at 113, with $2,500 in fees collected and $500 in fines assessed so far.
Boswell said town legal support will assist as challenges arise; she also reported the staff vacancy handling STR work resulted in an attorney reassignment. The board did not change enforcement policy at the meeting but noted the incoming ordinance and the platform transition will affect timing for new fines and license actions.
The board asked staff to monitor the Deckard implementation and report any enforcement or compliance consequences once the platform and ordinance are active.
