The council approved a $6,700 quote from Performance Plus to finish painting the Markota building and granted seasonal picnic tables to Samantha Little Eagle for Souls' patio after she reported a grease build-up in her oven exhaust hood that broke a fan belt and forced a weekend closure.
City Foreman Paul Noel reported pool floor work and that a new diving board installation is pending; the council approved hiring four lifeguards (Rosa Ainslie, William Ainslie, Kierra Noel and Tiernan Arnold) at $12.50 per hour. The council also approved three building permits: a garage remodel and new garage at 402 Easy St, a deck/awning at 302 5th Ave, and demolition and installation of a modular home at 301 Third Ave. The council tabled a decision on relocating electrical service to Hodson Park until staff obtain quotes on costs.
