The Martin City Council handled a range of routine and consent items on April 9. Council approved the agenda (motion by Tyler Nollett), approved minutes for March 12 and March 17, and approved the March finance officer’s report. Peterson moved to pay April claims; the motion carried. Council approved payment of $703 to the USDA for the lagoon payment.
Council approved malt beverage renewals for 2025–2026 for Sportsman’s Lanes, Susan’s H&H, American Legion Club, Martin Tire and Repair, Dakotamart, Bros, Souls and Yesway. The council also approved a building permit for Alberto Salomon and Anna Halverson to move a house to 502 Pugh Street. All actions were recorded as motions and carried; where recorded, votes were unanimous.
