Rogers County commissioners voted to accept a $20,000 SAFE Grant from the State of Oklahoma Attorney General for the Rogers County Sheriff's Office and authorized the chairman to execute the required paperwork in the Oklahoma Grant Exchange (OGX). The motion was made by Dan DeLozier, seconded by Steve Hendrix, and passed 3-0.
The minutes record that the grant will be administered by the Rogers County Sheriff's Office "within the parameters the grant was awarded." The action gives the sheriff's office authority to implement the grant-funded activities subject to the grant terms and OGX execution.
