Council schedules Oct. 22 special meeting to discuss Cozad property
Summary
On a unanimous vote the Martin City Council set a special meeting for Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m. with all commissions to continue consideration of the Cozad property and related housing proposals.
Doug Lucero moved that the council hold a special meeting with all commissions on Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room to further discuss the Cozad property and potential housing uses. Warren Peterson seconded the motion and the council voted in favor.
The action schedules further stakeholder discussion and signals the council's intention to develop the issue in a meeting dedicated to the Cozad property rather than at a regular session. No funding commitments were made at the Oct. 8 meeting.
