Winhall board approves multiple roadwork RFPs, adds library parking lot paving as a separate addendum

During the March 18 meeting the Winhall Select Board reviewed and approved several roadwork RFPs, including line striping (Exhibit A), sand (Exhibit E), gravel (Exhibit F), paving of town roads (Exhibit B) and culvert replacements on Winhall Hollow Road (Culverts #25 and #28, Exhibit C) and Culvert #9 (Exhibit D).
Christie Boswell moved to approve the line striping and gravel RFPs; Julie Isaacs moved to approve the sand RFP so it would be ready if needed. Grant moved to approve the paving RFP with an addendum to consider paving the library parking lot (30' x 90') as a separate item; Boswell seconded. Grant also moved to approve the culvert RFPs for Winhall Hollow Road and requested that warnings be sent to affected residents. These motions were seconded and recorded as approved.
The board discussed timing and weather considerations for culvert work and coordination with Stratton where appropriate. The RFP approvals authorize staff to solicit bids and schedule work once vendors are selected and weather allows.
