Trustees discussed outreach plans including tabling at a back-to-school event on Aug. 22 and participation options for the Pride parade on Sept. 8. The chair said the library would bring interactive activities and a spinning prize wheel to the Aug. 22 event and asked trustees to sign up for shifts; trustees also discussed whether to march in the Pride parade with a full group, carry a banner, or have a small representation.
Members noted schedule and staffing constraints and that city publicity and t-shirt logistics may be involved if the city participates. The board asked interested trustees to volunteer and confirmed follow-up planning to coordinate supplies, staffing and publicity.
