Council advances amendment to ordinance governing distribution of fee-in-lieu revenues for school operating purposes

Mark Campbell, chairman of the Florence School District 2 Board of Trustees, spoke in support of Ordinance No. 55. On second reading Council agreed to an amendment to the ordinance: inserting the word "District" after "School" in the title, replacing the prior citation "52-2022" with "53-2022," and changing wording to "To Allow" where indicated. The amendment and the ordinance as amended were approved unanimously on second reading by those present.
