Court approves budget amendments, line-item transfers and auditor claims; recesses for budget hearing

Miss Arter told the court there were several budget amendments to reflect additional revenue and routine line-item transfers and requested the court's approval to proceed. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the amendments and transfers by voice vote.
"This week we have a few...budget amendments for additional revenue that we've received and we have, routine line on transfers and we ask for the court's approval," Miss Arter said. The court approved the auditor's accounts-payable invoices for county roads and equipment and finalized approval of claims for payment.
After finishing items on the agenda the court approved a motion to adjourn and recessed for about 30 minutes with plans to return for a budget hearing.
