The Summit County Service Area #3 trustees voted 6-0 on April 6, 2026 to approve and post a request for proposals for the Silver Bullet Well, described in staff materials as a standalone well project drafted by Louglin & Associates.
Staff noted that the Silver Bullet Well is separate from the planned water storage tank and system improvements and that the project will be funded and later reimbursed by bond proceeds. Office Manager Jody Anagnos will post the RFP on Bonfire and the Service Area website for a 14-day solicitation window. Derek Price moved to post the RFP and Justin Shea seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Next steps: staff will receive proposals after the 14-day posting and return to the board with recommended awards at a subsequent meeting.
