Jason Weeks, introduced as the new city manager for the City of Mineral Wells, spoke to Parker County commissioners on April 30 about his first 90 days and outreach plans.
Weeks said he has about 24 years of local government experience, described priorities that include customer service, communication and transparency, and noted he is scheduling informal meetings (Coffee with the City Manager) and an evening meet-up on May 13 at Bankhead Wine Bar. Commissioners noted the interdependence of Mineral Wells and Parker County on water issues and the county airport; several commissioners welcomed collaboration on water, airport and downtown revitalization issues.
Weeks said he will review the city’s budget in depth and invited commissioners and residents to meet with him individually. The court thanked Weeks for coming and encouraged continued intergovernmental coordination.
