The hires are designated as temporary part‑time positions and contingent on coordination with the Auditor, HR and appropriate county staff to process and schedule hires; County Judge Shane Stolarczyk moved the item and Commissioner Chad Carpenter seconded.
Separately, the Court approved FY2026 stipend payments to Volunteer Fire Departments as budgeted: Alamo Springs $5,000; Boerne $7,500; Kendalia, Sisterdale and Waring $10,000 each; Comfort and Bergheim $15,000 each. Commissioner Andra Wisian moved the stipend approval and County Judge Stolarczyk seconded; the vote for the stipend schedule was unanimous.
