Court recognizes City of Weatherford for GFOA Triple Crown award; city CFO highlights transparency

Don Brooks, identifying himself as the City of Weatherford CFO, thanked the court and described the three reports required for the Triple Crown: the annual comprehensive financial report, the distinguished budget award and the popular annual financial report. "There are only about 33 entities in the state of Texas who received this," Brooks said, expressing appreciation for his finance team's work. Mayor Pascall thanked county leadership for the partnership and joined city staff for photographs following the proclamation.
The court approved the resolution by voice vote and took a photo with the Weatherford delegation.
