Harris County court adopts official canvass for Nov. 5 general election and special CD-18 contest

Harris County Clerk Tanisha Hudspeth presented the two items for adoption and thanked county departments, staff and volunteers. Hudspeth said the office had "completed a total of 7 elections back to back here in Harris County" and acknowledged "over 12,000 election workers" who helped run the elections. The clerk also thanked stakeholders across county departments for their support in election operations.
After the canvasses were adopted, commissioners thanked Hudspeth and her team for their work. With no further business, the court adjourned shortly after the vote. The clerk confirmed both canvasses were adopted; no additional actions or appeals were recorded in the transcript.
