County Clerk seeks records grant, reports mortgage recordings and expands fraud alert tool

County Clerk Molly Linehan updated the Government Operations Committee on records management and office operations. Linehan said the committee would like to move forward with applying for the Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund (LGRMIF) and that DMV work is ongoing with the DRIVEs program.
Linehan also reported the County Clerk’s Office recorded two large mortgages and expanded a fraud alert tool to permit users to enter up to 10 name variations, up from three. The report was accepted as information.
